Review + Swatches : A'pieu Aurora Luminous CC Cream

Hi bubblies!
How's your day?
Hope you have a splendid time eveerrr! :D

Here is my review to one product that offering the trend of "CC CREAM".

What is CC Cream? What's the difference with BB Cream?
<< CC Cream is more like Color Correcting or Color Control Cream,
while BB Cream stands for Blemish Balm or Beauty Balm Cream >>
read more here!

A'pieu is one from many Korean brand that may you rarely hear about. I also got this product to try on through my trusty online shop as a sponsored items.
You may click click and shop shop here as well :D >> https://www.facebook.com/glamourstairwayPAGES?ref=br_tf

And here is my full review about the product for been using it quite sometime now.
With trial and error while testing it out. Different period of time, technique for application &  on my oily skin type face.

 A'pieu Aurora Luminous CC Cream

I got mine in the shade NB 01

And unfortunately, this product also come in 2 shades only.
At first, I was confused to pick the right shades to me personally. And it's not much different between those 2 though ( especially through the webpage color scheme vs the reality ). #hais.
But, I was thinking to go with the NB instead. With the thought of NB stands for Neutral & CB for Cool as it would make my face look paler. haha. I'm just playing guessing games here! and hope it was right. #TryMyLuck #ngarangbebas :P :P

The Packaging
The packaging is quite nice. Nicely made, sturdy enough. Has a nice weight also. But, being too bulky from the shape if I want to restore this in my makeup purse I must say.

See? quite big like the size of my hand :/

It come with a concealer jar on top and there's a mirror inside the flip cover.

While being separate with the body is the CC Cream itself.

☆☆☆ The Concealer ☆☆☆
Texture-wise : It's quite nice. It's creamy, even feels runny when you touches them. Easy to blend. Lightweight feeling also.

Swatches :

The concealer performance is quite sheer & lightweight feeling like I said before. I would say it's more suited for the under eye area for it will not cake you up. The pinky tone also counter act the dark circle and works wonder as the brightening effect to it. But sadly, it won't cover any blemishes or my redness post acne mark as it goes on sheer as for the coverage.

See the picture below :

black arrow : where I saw you the before ( under the left eye ) & after ( under the right eye ) picture for the performance of the concealer as for the dark circle problem. << which is quite amayzeng for it! :D
red arrow : where it shows the not-so-covering redness from my post acne "monthly" mark that I got. #eugh

And about the longevity of the concealer itself, I can see it holds up pretty good job for not settling into fine lines as it "feels" like hydrate skin as well. Maybe because It's not on the dry side of texture and feels runny like water when you touches them. BUT, too sad it fades throughout the day because of that. Even I already use setting powder on top.

☆☆☆ The CC Cream ☆☆☆
Texture-wise : They have more of a whipped, light, fluffy feel.

To get into the product, you need to push it down.

and it will come out through the center of the circle.

Swatches :

It leaves a dewy finish, and have a strong fragrance scents. which I'm not a fan of. >,<"

Definitely the performance of the color correcting itself is instantly brighten, even WHITEN up my skin. I feel so pale and ghostly white after putting this onto my face.>,<" And the color won't turned or adjusted into my skin tone ( still leaving that white cast afterwards ), that's why I need to put and set it with face color powder on top.

About the longevity of the CC Cream itself, it also doesn't do a good job for me either. Felt like it's not sunken in to my skin, just sit there on top and opportunity is : slides from my face in a couple of hours. Yep.
Even when I already prime my face and use setting powder on top. Even tried using buffing brush as for application. or finger. Just the same.

All in all..
Well, I surely not recommend you to buy this. This product doesn't work for me, even though I tried to like it before. And now I even rarely reach it for my daily makeup. Exception for the concealer part, I still use it sometimes as a quick fix to my under eye area dark circle problem.

❦❦ Review : Etude Water Color Blusher in No.1 Pink ❦❦

Hi bubblies!
How's your day?
Hope you all look fabulouss!

Girls, do you agree playing with makeup is another fun of being a girl?? ups, or some boys  nowadays maybe! :P But another story, don't you all remember when we're all a child.. were you the typical artsy kids that LOVE drawing,  painting or coloring at school?
Yep. I'm one of that bunch of kids. always excited with all that fun rainbow colors! :)

And this time, I guess Etude tries to capture that excitement to makeup.
Make painting in the face is such a blast full of joy, right?!

And this is a review for
Etude House Water Color Blusher in No.1 Pink
4 different shades available for this particular products :
#1 Pink
#2 Coral
#3 Apricot
#4 Lilac

***

As you can see, the packaging is such a fun and uber cute concept! reminds me of my oooold times back in the days. Well, not that old lahh! << make an impression to look young >,<"
--_--a

haha. Anyways, it's in a form of a squeeze tube. which you can control the coming out of how much the product for yourself. And seriously, you just need a teeny tiny bit of dots. since it is too liquidy. and then blend it to both of your cheeks.

The consistency as I mention earlier is more like liquidy. It spread effortlessly, but you need to get used to it until you get a nice blended & natural pinky cheeks.
The color is what I found so sheer while I spread it even on my cheeks for the first layer. It can be buildable, with a dabbing motion technique of application ( with finger or a brush ) and wait a while until it settle to the skin.

 with 2-3 layer of color

 lighting with natural day sunlight

It has that dewy finish but almost matte while it settle to the skin.

It has a fragrance scents, which I'm not a fan of. sort of like an overwhelm soap baby scent for my liking. >,<" but don't worry, it won't stay long while it's on your cheeks.

As for the staying power, for me personally, it doesn't do a good job. as I do have an oily face base, it will be gone within a couple of hours. I think it more suited for a dry skin as it would stick better to that type of skin.

Review + Comparison : The Pink Sponges

Oh The Phenomenal Pink Sponges!
Maybe once on my previous post, I mentioned that the raving of The Mother of all the Pink Sponges : Beauty Blender is too overwhelmed for me.

Yea, despite the crazy price for A sponge, I find myself fill in my curiosity by purchasing one of the set. >,<"

I believe the retail price is around $26 US Dollar. (double beauty Blender)
But I got it for IDR. 285000rupiahs (around $28.50 US Dollar) through a friend of mine.

And as you guys know, I also been purchasing another pink sponges from Etude House ( on the previous post --> click here! )

And for the third comparison, I'll be reviewing another "dupe" pink sponge called BEAUTY SPONGE.

Here are the 3 sponges that I'll be comparing :

Beauty Blender, Beauty Sponge, Baby Doll Puff

Color, Shape, Diameter
As you can see, Beauty Blender has the most vibrant pink color among them. (But unfortunately, that color will fade away and it might leave to your cosmetic or foundation? Well, that's what I heard >,<") While Beauty Sponge is more like a baby pink color and Baby Doll Puff is like a darken pink.

For the shape, Beauty Blender is famous for it's egg shape. Egg shape apparently is more likeable in terms of rolling the foundation to blend them nicely (according to Makeup Geek). However, Beauty Sponge has the same exact shape and grip to Beauty Blender. While on the other hand, Baby Doll Puff has a different shape which is perfect for grip and dabbing (read : bouncing motion) the foundation to the face (according to Goss Makeup Artist).

Even though you might see the different of shape between Baby Doll Puff and the other two, surprisingly, they all have the same diameter, which is 11cm.

Texture, Bounciness, Pores
For the texture, I gotta say Beauty Blender is the winner of them all. The surface is so very soft, it bounce like there's no tomorrow and has the smallest pores which will leave you a flawless finish.

While Baby Doll Puff has slightly bigger pores and didn't bounce as much as Beauty Blender. But it has a more "tough skin" or I might say it made with more solid material.

For this different characteristic, it has it's own minus and plus points. Beauty Blender will easily get ripped if you have a long and sharp nails while Baby Doll Puff is tougher and gonna survive for more.

While for Beauty Sponge, if I have to compare between those two, the pores is softer than Baby Doll Puff but not as smooth as Beauty Blender. The bounciness for this material is more like Baby Doll Puff because it has more sturdy and solid feel to it.

Damp into water
And another famous part in terms of Beauty Blender, when you soak it into water, the sponge will expands to nearly double it's volume. This technique I believe is used to avoid the sponge absorbing all your makeup products.

For the Beauty Sponge, it also will expands after you soak it into water. But it won't get as twice as big as Beauty Blender does.

While for Baby Doll Puff, it won't getting bigger. It keep the size like the first you saw it.

Before :
After damp into water :
 See the different?
Beauty Sponge is as almost as tall as Baby Doll Puff, while Beauty Blender is getting bigger like there's no tomorrow.

And all I can feel after I damp all the sponges into water, Beauty Blender and Beauty Sponge are amazingly feel tighter. Meanwhile for Baby Doll Puff, since it won't getting bigger, it leave all the excessive water into the surface of the sponge (even if you already squeeze it) and kinda feel heavier afterwards.

To me personally, this different characteristic of each sponges doesn't determine who will be the "Winner of the Sponges". It leads into the finishes that you're looking for. :)

Finishes
I've tried and compare them several times, and yes Beauty Blender gives a flawless and beautiful finish. The texture is so very soft and give a great bounce. And so does Beauty Sponge, I would gladly say.. it gives the same finish like when I use Beauty Blender. But, it just lack a little bounciness than Beauty Blender.
For these two, best work with liquid foundation. If you use it for cream foundation or any other cream products, it will absorb into the sponges and leave a stain that won't go.
And for the Baby Doll Puff, I found the best using it by spray (spray, not damp) with water or MAC Fix+ (to avoid the heaviness and excessive water on the surface) and best work with cream foundation.
