I think it's a unique product. and unlike any other hair care that I have tried.
It was also come in handy, easily spray it to the hair.

☆ The Packaging ☆
This is where I begin the love & hate relationship with cute Etude House product. Usually, I would find some of them were made from a cheap material and got easily broke! >,<" But, gladly I'd say for this, it is from a heavy weight sturdy plastic bottle. Good thing, because it's a liquid inside. You don't want it to be spilled all over the place when there's a high chance to be easily broke, right? BUT. to be concern, it could be a burdensome if you wanna carry it in your purse.

☆ The Texture ☆
The texture is pretty light, non greasy or sticky feeling at all. *huge plus thing*

There's a hint of milky white color in there, but it will be absorbed as translucent.

And the smell is really nice too, sort of a soapy floral fragrance scents to me! And I like it. Could freshen up your mood as well :P

☆ The Result ☆
I always spray this when my hair is dry, or after I blow dried my hair. My hair feels instantly smooth and comb nicely. Also could tame the frizzy lion hair that I got!
But, I would say it's not gonna be a long lasting result ( to change the texture of my dried and frizzy hair in the future ), but this thing help if you wanna get an instant smooth hair ( and smelly nice hair! ) in a minute. The scents also surprisingly last quite long too in my hair! >> up to 6 hours indoor activity.

If you wonder, the finish of this to hair is quite natural. a healthy-smooth glow hair, not a glossy-wet looking finish that what I might imagine at first. lol. so.. *thumbs up*

For now, I love this! and it's affordable too. ( bought online at Indonesian multiply market for around IDR. 60000 rupiahs or 6 bucks! )

well.. I'm a budget conscious when it comes to beauty products, why would you spend so much money if you happy with what you got at such a cheap price? :P hehe.. k. enough for me rambling.
Hope you find this post helpful though!

Review Local Brand : Mustika Ratu Cem Ceman Hair Oil

Hi bubblies!
How's your day?
Hope it's a magical one :)

This is my review from our local brand, Mustika Ratu by DRA Mooryati Soedibyo, which is :
"Hair Oil Cem Ceman"
through the name, it still keeping Indonesian which makes me proud :D

So, basically this is a hair oil that was meant to shines your hair the true color of your hair. Made from pure coconut oil, traditionally processed with special leaves & aromatic spices to shine your hair, maintain hair's blackness and helps maintain the hair strong.

How to use :
Apply on your hair and scalp one hour before shampooing or at night before bed.

Ingredients :
Cocos nucifera ( Coconut ) Oil, Elaeis guineensis ( Palm ) Kernel oil, Aleuritas moulccana Seed Oil, Lawsonia inermis ( Henna ) Extract, Eclipta alba Leaf Extract, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor OIl, Cananga odorata Flower OIl, Jasmimum officinale ( Jasmine ) Flower Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate.

Price & Place to get :
For 175ml of product, it will cost you only IDR. 18000-20000 rupiahs ( around $ 1.80-2.00 US Dollars ). Crazy affordable isn't? Last you quite a looong time for this.
And you can get it in supermarket nearby, Mustika Ratu counter, or I bought mine at Diamond - Mal Artha Gading >> stumbled upon this while doing grocery shopping with mom :P
or online buy at this store --> kosmetikcantik.com

Actually, choosing this hair oil because I've ran out of my trusty little oil --> Skin Food Argan Oil Silk Hair which I've been raved about earlier. Instead purchasing another, so I decided to try new things. And I've heard a lot about the miracle from coconut oil for hair as well. This local brand captured my eyes while choosing because it still keeping the traditional and natural ingredients in it, which I like.

It has a dispense like so :
Personally, I don't like the packaging. Well.. pump is so much better because with this, you can spill the oil easily and leave the bottle sticky and slide as well. Plus, you can't control the amount of oil you're getting everytime you pour them to your hand.

The oil has a hint of the green color. Ohya btw, the plastic bottle is a transparent color, so the color is true from what you see through the packaging.

My review after about 2 weeks of using..
Remind again, this is just an oil that was meant to keep the hair shines, making it look healthy and keeping the natural color of your hair. >> they even stressed out the "blackness" of your hair. As I do naturally have black hair and the image of Indonesian healthy hair sounds like : "The more black, the more healthy it look." :/
So.. so so sorry that I got no words for another colored hair :(

2 weeks of using is enough for me to see the result.

First week of trying by applied them before I washed and shampooed my hair :
My hair is unlike my face, it's very dry and matte. -_-" my face is super oily btw and sometimes it look glowing  #JokeToSelf -_____-"
For my hair situation, ( please read this link first --> Skin Food Argan Oil Silk Hair), I always blow dry my hair everytime I washed it ( fyi: blow drying hair could stripped off your natural oil which make your hair dry and frizzy ). So, bringing back the softness of my hair is by putting oil based serum and I find it works best for me.
Does it making it look more healthier? I CAN'T SAY MUCH. Because I wouldn't say I see a dramatic result for my hair now. It supposed to nourishes scalp as well to make it stronger and healthier for a new grown hair. SO, it's a long process to be reviewed, I guess :)
Hence, by applying them that way, the oil got washed off after shampooing.. and that's not as what I needed for my situation. :(

..Still keeping my review and I go differently to see how far can I go with this..

Second week of trying by applied them after I washed my hair, with a damp hair, like a heat protectant, before blow drying my hair :
Usually with this situation, I only put it in the end of my hair, where it mostly dried and damaged. I would say it protect and make my hair soft and shiny. But the downfall is like other oil based serum I've tried, unlike the Skin Food Argan oil, it leaves an "excess oil feeling -almost sticky-" even after I blow dry them. It could be bad, it could be good.. but if that the case, I desperately need to wash my hair more often than I normally do.

Last word.. I'd say it's a good product. Like any traditional and natural ingredients medication, took longest time to see the result. BUT, it's what the best and the result is never disappointing. So, if you care for your black beautiful hair for a longer term, this maybe your answer from heaven. :P

So, I've got this baby actually for quite a while now. In fact, I almost gone through the bottle ( the picture below was taken when it was still new and in a clean condition, for a good picture review :P)

I love all the Skin Food packaging. <3
They still keep the essence of traditional food recipe :P

And it's pump bottle type to dispense the product.

My thought about this baby?
My Goodness, I love it!

But, to start this review, I need to explain a little bit about the condition of my hair and how it change my hair (for a better).
I'm a type of person who always blow dry my hair every time I washed them. I just never like to air dry them, because it gets me dizzy, getting bothered by the wetness, it won't volumize my hair either, and I would look like a mess even though I did shower and just washed my hair. Pretty ironic, right? lol.
And off course not forget to mention, my hair gone so much chemical things before. I've gone crazily coloring my hair in college << I've done RED and BLONDE! oh noo.. I'm not gonna post my humiliating pictures here. >,<" LOL.
To add the craziness, I once permanently curled my hair in high school, THREE TIMES chemically smooth them, and off course my best friend at that time were hair straightener and curling iron. Phew!

It scared me at the point when I lost so much hair.. also my hair felt frizzy, dry and damage. And I think about me being bold. *horror* NOOOO! *scream*
I even scared to cut the length of my hair, normally. haha..

So, I determine my mind just to make it healthy from this now on.

I have a naturally black hair. What I mean is black, it really is no shed of brown. at all.. almost like a jet black I should say. That's how dark my natural hair is.

So, proceed to this product review (cut the rambling part. >,<) And why I like it so much? Because it gives back my natural hair alive. DO REMIND, I always put the product in wet hair, after shower and before hair dry them. BECAUSE it's an oil based.
When you put something oil into your hair, please don't apply it when you get your hair done. It should be used in wet hair condition and only at the tip of your dried and damage hair. In my experience, otherwise, it will only make my hair look greasy and "lepek" looking.
The advantage from this product compare to.. let's say, "other drugstore hair care serum" that I've tried, is when I've done blow dry my hair, there is no such stickiness leave into my hair anymore. It just bounce and feel soft like a normal hair supposed to be.

Usually, before I found this argan oil, I love LOVE my GRAPESEED GLOSSING SERUM by The Body Shop.

How much I loved it?
It's been my 3rd purchased of the product. >,<

The Body Shop one smell amazing on the hair, it doesn't feel sticky also.
But hands down to the argan oil, for bringing down the smoothness on my driest and most damaged hair. ( with the condition : I always blow dry my hair after putting the product! Otherwise, argan oil could make your hair greasy looking too! << OIL BASED )

The consistency between those two products also have a slight difference. While argan oil feel more runny and oilier, grapeseed serum is thicker. << Both from an oil based serum.
BOTH smell amazing! although grapeseed has a more strong lemony-citrusy smell than the argan oil.

While for the price :
The Body Shop : bought in the original counter for IDR. 149000 rupiahs (around $14.90 US Dollar)
The Skin Food Argan Oil Silk Hair Essence : bought online at Indonesian multiply market for IDR. 100000 rupiahs (around $10 US Dollar)

It's cheaper, right? :D

You know my mind already. I'll definitely repurchase the argan oil from now on :)

UPDATE : Picture from my latest post --> IDR. 100K Makeup Challenge TAG! on August 8, 2012 >> already gone through a bottle using Argan Oil and loving the result from it :)
