❧❦ ♚ Celebrity Inspired Makeup Look : Syahrini ♚ ❦❧

Hi bubblies!
How's your day?
Hope you're all feeling fabulous! :D

And as a promise from my previous post, this is my rendition in..
"How To Look Like Syahrini"
lol. >,<"
okeh, kinda feel a little embarrassed right now. ( ̄ ³ ̄)

Little disclaimer : This is just my personal interpretation in how Syahrini look like and do her makeup, so.. please no harm if I do any mistake or doesn't go as what you expected in the first place. This is not officially credit by her ^^

If you don't know who Syahrini is ( for my international reader, of course ^0^ ), she is one of Indonesia's famous singer! For further info, there is always wikipedia & google! ahaha :P >> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syahrini

And from my eyes, Syahrini is like our Kim K. if it goes to a fashion & beauty sense. She is a one word for living : GLAMOROUS.
Her fashion style is definitely accessorize with lots of blink blink and thing-a-ling-a-ling. hem. I don't even know why i just said that. >,<" yah. pokonya rame deh. haha

And as for her beauty and makeup style, she is the Queen of Lashes!
Lots of thick top and bottom lashes as her signature style.

She looves wearing a peach blush on the cheeks and coral lips to go along with her statement eyes.

As go for her eyes, she usually wears a bold grey contact lenses, a cool tone grey smokey eyes, a very thick eyeliner to make her eyes bigger & rounder, and.. *surprise surprise* her dramatic FAKE LASHES!

However, this is what I come up with :)

I really do struggling to mimicking her smile. tried a bunch of poses. Oh My God.
let me tell you.. it's hard! >,<" lol.
yah. apa adanya saja ya. blink2 fakenya juga bikin ketawa bgt yak. haha :P

Princess Syahrini False Lashes in Katulistiwa
Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad To The Bronze
Mascara that I use : Maybelline Magnum Mascara

1. Start with a bare eyes
2. I will prime my eyelid with Maybelline Color Tattoo, also it act as a base color
3. The color is a beautiful shimmery bronze color, perfect for this look

 4. From The Too Face Palette, I'm taking a matte greyish charcoal color called "Like A Virgin"
5. With a pencil brush, swipe it all over the lid
6. I'm keeping the color still below my crease

 7. Now, I'm taking shimmery silver color called "Pillow Talk"
8. With a Smudge Brush
9. I'm placing the color above my crease towards the inner eyes, this will brighten up the eyes beautifully

 10. Lastly, with a milky matte color called "In The Buff"
11. Pack the color into the brow bone with a blending brush
12. And the inner corner, this will make the blending color more polished and finished

13. With your favorite eyeliner ( I'm using liquid type )
14. You can create a tracing line first, to help you make a thick line look
15. Then, just fill them in

16. Just to blend my natural lashes with the fake one, I'm coating my lashes with a mascara
17. This is the star of the show : The FAKE LASHES!
18. whoala! :D

19. This step is optional, but I brighten up my lower waterline with a white pencil liner
20. And add a lower fake lashes. As you can see.. I have nothing there. so, I have to cheat! lol.

I already did the eyebrow.
And this is the finish result for the eyes! :D

♚ Review : Princess Syahrini False Lashes in "Khatulistiwa" ♚

Hi bubblies!
How's your day?
Hope you're doing incrediblee! :D

So, I'm back with a falsies review that D'eyeko sent me the other day.
I once talk about all of this new collection in my previous post -> click here! <- make sure to read them first ya. that previous post where I also wrote : how much the price, where to get it, sneak peek preview full collection, etc. ^^

And here it is one of the most famous type from Princess Syahrini Collection by D'eyeko, which is :
"Khatulistiwa"

And from what I've heard, this is Syahrini's favorite pair of lashes that she often use. Which is the fullest, most glamorous looking, and "DIVA" style type of lashes.

Okey, talk a little bit from The Packaging.

back of the packaging.
there is also an instruction for those of you who is a beginner in wearing a falsies.

how you open it to get into the product.

the lashes itself.

 also comes with a glue.
ingredients : acrylates/ethyhexyl acrylate copolimer

Although I can see the packaging for each of the individual pair of lashes is looking so polish and exclusive, I don't think it's effective if I wanna store this in my drawer or my dressing table. Unless, if I throw the bulky hard plastic packaging and store the lashes into another box/container so I can save this and later on I can re-use this.

All I can say, the hard plastic packaging is meant to be their marketing display in the store. But.. too bad they didn't make another fitted separate plastic cover so I can bring this along in my makeup bag. Don't you think? Well, that's maybe my personal complain about the packaging :)

 Doesn't have a separate cover.
I have to use the hard plastic display to restore it.

 The Lashes.

As you can see, the lashes is so FULL. So very voluminous, and lengthen your natural lashes as well. It's like 2 stack of lashes in 1.

Although it's quite thick, I think it's a well made, good quality and solid piece. The band is pretty forgiving to be playing with or to put on with such the thickness.

But let me tell you.. this is not a beginner type of lashes! It's so dramatic and full and not so suitable for the first timer falsies user. You may find this heavy and uncomfortable, of course. And I don't think it's also an everyday natural type of falsies either. Well, unless if you take the chance and pretend to be Syahrini in one day. :P lol.

Here I got some comparison to my other "regular" natural type of falsies so you can see the difference.

Kay Collection 26mm --> once I use this here!

In the end, I know it's one of a good quality product that comes from our local brand.
So I'm really proud of it! lol.

I've been thinking to make a separate upcoming post >> "How to Look Like Syahrini."

LOL.
I will make a makeup tutorial for smokey eyes that Syahrini often wore as well.

Stay tune.

♔ Review : Heart Jewel Lash No.18 ♔

Hi bubblies!
How's your 2013 so far?
Hope you have a wicked year ahead!
Keep your spirit high, yes?! :D

So, back again for my very first review post in 2013!
*fiuhh time just flew by and it's already a whole another year! *_*
And I'll be reviewing a pair of falsies that actually I wore on New Year's Eve 2013!
*woot woot

It was a pair of Japanese Brand called "Heart Jewel Lash" that I bought at SOGO Department Store, Paris Van Java Bandung.
Yes. Apparently I spent my New Year at Bandung ^^
I don't know why I intrigued to buy lots of lashes at that time. And this particular falsies that I chose to wear because I fell in love at the first sight for it's uniqueness and none like I ever seen before.

Heart Jewel Lash No.18

This pair of falsies was meant to put just to give a definition to your outer lashes.
Giving an effect of flirty cat lashes and elongate eyes as well.

Unto My Review

From the feather, yes you may find it's looking so fake and synthetic-y.
May look unnatural? Yes, for everyday it's just too much for my personal preferences. But for dramatic-party-flirty eyes? Give it a try! It gives such a great definition to your eyes! :D

The band is pretty bold, stiff and heavy. You feel like you're wearing a false lashes definitely. And you would find it uncomfortable if you rarely use any kind or any type of false lashes. About the band being bold, the good side, you would find advantage by easily clean the leftover eyelash glue and use it more than you 2-3 times. or even more than that. Good value, eh? ^___^

It also comes with a glue. I guess it's pretty useful for emergency. The glue is pretty tacky, sticking nicely and has a clear finish. But I would say, better stick with your own eyelash glue of choice. I believe it's cheap made manufacturer and I don't see any ingredients list in it.

sorry for the yellow bathroom lighting >,<"

room lighting

Overall..
I'm liking the effect it gives to my lashes. So, I will stack this on occasionally for some party event or while I'm creating a look. why not?
But nah for everyday use. >,<"
Bought around IDR. 29500 rupiahs ( around $ 2.95 US Dollars ) for each pair.
FYI : It's a Japanese brand but manufactured in China.

That's it my review.
Let me know what you think!
Good day all!
Smile :)

NOTE: all of the product were purchased by my own money and reviewed by honest thought. It's just my way to give you an opinion in buying product that you considered to purchase. Be a smart buyer! Hope you like my reviews.
