1. What do you like about rainy days?
I love the smell of it. I mean, smell of the earth that got rained. It's such a feeling to have ya.

2. Do you have a favorite drink and/or food for rainy days?
Lately, I've been craving for a hot chocolate milk. And I lovee a warm, freshly made piece of bread or croissant to accompany it.

3. Do you have a certain song that you like to play over and over again during this rainy season?
YES! And as this officially have been a great vibe of holiday season as well, I love hearing a Christmas songs all over again. ahh.. >,<"

If you have friends with me on facebook, probably you already see me posted this song :
Lady Antebellum - A Holly Jolly Christmas.

And yes, this is what I constantly hear for this past few days! XD

4. Imagine being in your room on a rainy day. What do you like to do most?
I Love to snuggle in my bed and looking for a warmth and cozy feeling through my fluffy blanket and a bunch of my pillows. While wearing a comfy pajamas and socks. And listening to a calming songs. At the same time, browsing internet or doing work through my laptop ^__^

5. What clothes you like to wear most during rainy days (aside from rain jackets)?
I love me some sweater! A thick, soft, knitted, fluffy, oversized one! Or a hoodie! Haha.. I just LOVE wearing them. :D

6. What makeup item do you use the most when it's rainy season since the air does get cooler?
Hmm.. I don't know how to answer this. If the weather gets any cooler, I use minyak telon or minyak kayu putih buat menghangatkan badan dong, phaniee. haha.. :P Oh, but I use chapstick more often! As my lips easily gets dry in a cold weather :D

7. Finally, what memories do you have when it's raining? One of your favorite memory.
Hemm.. *got me thinking hard this time* And I guess.. my most favorite memory during raining has got to be from my junior high school moment.

It was a scout trip to climb a mountain in West Java. ( I guess.. kinda forgot >,<" ) And we all planned to go to the waterfall in the peak of the mountain there. During the climbing, it was a nonstop rain! Such a hard thing for me to do at that time, because I already felt unwell since the day before. :( And when one of my senior knew my condition, she immediately asked me to stop and order me to go back to the basecamp. One of my teacher even accompany me the whole time and make sure I was alright after that.

Remembering this, I feel like kicking myself in a butt because I never had a chance to go there again and see that beautiful waterfall in person. Looking at my friend's pictures with the waterfall ( at that time ) even make me feel so jelly. >,<" ugh.LOL.

But hey, that's such an experience and I'll just make it as a good memory. because I can feel that my friends, seniors, teachers were really really taking good care of me at that time. and I feel safe :')

Sip! I guess this is the end of the tag.. and I hope mine gives you inspire to do this tag ya!
Because I'm tagging YOU or everyone who reads this! haha..

Have a lovely day, ya'll!
Don't forget to stay SMILE through rainy days that you have.

Lots of ♥,
Feli :)

What's in My Makeup ON-THE-GO Bag? TAG!

Hi bubblies!
How's your day?
Is it good? Is it bad?
Nah.. After reading this I hope I could cheer you up no matter what! :P

So, What's in My Makeup ON-THE-GO Bag? TAG!
I think it's my rendition to another What's in My Makeup Bag TAG. And basically, it could also explain my regular everyday makeup products and tools while I'm preparing myself on the go.

I actually have 2 makeup bags that I normally use.
I called them "Sexy Zebra" and "Hot Polkadot". Haha.. Please don't puke, as I'm naming them for the sake of this post's explanation :P

I use "Sexy Zebra" whenever I want to carry along my skincare products, as the space is bigger and the inside form is sturdier >> more like a traveling makeup bag, I would say. For "Hot Polkadot", I will normally carry this as I need to be polished after I got showered at some other place ( if that explain the situation ) :P

I use "Hot Polkadot" more often. And lately I've been changing my skincare quite a lot. Maybe this time, we'll peeping through only for "Hot Polkadot"? hehe.
Shall we.. ?? :D
( I bet "Sexy Zebra" is so damn jealous right now!  )

*LOL.

It has 4 compartments that I could fill : 2 side pockets, 1 zipper pocket and the center of the bag itself.

********************************************************************

LEFT SIDE POCKET ^.^

********************************************************************

This space is where I normally store my complexion face makeup. I always mix any of my foundation or BB cream. As I need coverage lately, I've been using Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream SPF 42 PA++ No.21 again, then I mixed with Maybelline Clear Smooth 8 in 1 Skin Transformer BB Cream in 02 Natural. Because as far as I like Missha's coverage, the color is too greyish and look ashy on my face. Then, to conceal my blemishes I love using Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals Healthy Natural Concealer in Medium Sand. To set all that liquid stuff, I'm using Maybelline Clear Smooth Shine Free Face Powder in 01 Light under my eyes and together with Bless Face Powder in Natural for the rest of the face. There's left tiny space there, so I manage to store my Softlense Case as well.

********************************************************************

RIGHT SIDE POCKET ^.^

********************************************************************

This is another space ready to be filled in. Kinda miscellaneous, but it works for my stick, pen or lippies type makeup things. My everyday eyeliner is L'oreal Superliner felt tip eyeliner in Noir/Black I already use this for soooo long and it still working and didn't dry out as well. I would say, that is a good product for sure! It still on the pricier side, but it last me quite long.. so it worth the money :) Still on the eye section, mascara that I'm currently using is Lancome Virtuôse Precious Cells High Definition Curves & Length Mascara.
And if in some case I wanna do a long lasting eye makeup, I'm using NYX HD Eyeshadow Base. I would say this is a good eye primer, and I do love it. But I never tried any other expensive and famous eye primer, so my words is a point of view of this thing alone :P
Any pop of color for my lower lash line, I love using Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencils in Mildew, Binge or Ransom.
Any sleepless night? I need to fake my dark circle using Revlon Photoready Concealer in 002 And oh, another thing that could make the difference if you don't have enough sleep is by faking your glow! Using Benefit High Beam :)
For any lip colors, I'm keeping it nude and natural, using Maybelline Watershine Pure Lipstick in C22 or NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Tokyo.
Fragrance is just a sample size that I got for attending Lancôme's beauty class, which is Hypnôse Senses Eau de Parfume.
Also enough space to store another face products, I keep my Etude House Aloha V-Line Slim Maker and Elf Studio Blush in Candid Coral nicely and tight there.

********************************************************************

CENTER SPACE ^.^

********************************************************************

Hands down, my favorite nude eyeshadow palette of the time and I always carry around is NYX Nude on Nude Eyeshadow Palette. For face primer, I always using L'oreal Base Magique Transforming Smoothing Primer. It gives me a velvety skin face, filled in my pores and good oil control! :D
For finishing setting spray, I currently using Etude House Dr. Oil Solution Anti Shine Mist Setting Spray
As for lip balm, always always using EOS Lipbalm in Passion Fruit.
And lastly, 2 of The Body Shop products that I love and currently been on my makeup bag are The Body Shop Body Mist in Moon Flower and The Body Shop Grapeseed Glossing Serum for my hair.
Also I couldn't leave without my accessories. There's tiny purse in there to keep them all in. There is my watch, beaded bracelets, rings, etc.

Brush Roll
Still in the center space, I packed my brush roll as well.

Face Brushes :
  • Foundation Brush : Sigma F80 Flat Kabuki Brush
  • Blush Brush : Unbranded Japanese Brush
  • Powder Brush : Elf Flat Top Powder Brush
  • Contouring Brush : Sigma F25 Tapered Face Brush

Eye Brushes :

Brow Brushes :

********************************************************************

ZIPPER POCKET ^.^

********************************************************************

There is tiny space inside this pocket, and it's perfect to packed in some cotton pads, ear buds, spatula / scoop and a tweezer.
I bet all these things are gonna be useful! :D

***

yess, it's all fit in there! :0

So, how do you store your makeup bag?
Let me know what you think!
 Good day all!

Yang lagi puasa juga tetap semangat! Ayo ayo pasti bisa! :D

So, hearing that in IBB ( Indonesian Beauty Blogger ) Facebook Page that they're having an IDR. 100K Makeup Challenge TAG! Of course I couldn't missed this one. And I know took a while for me to finally fixed with the products that I'm gonna use. PS : Shopping with a tight budget is really hard to do!! >,<"

And because of that, I carefully selected them and finally make to get a FULL FACE MAKEUP LOOK in a perfect  IDR. 100K! Phew..! :D

What is "IDR. 100K Makeup Challenge TAG!"?
>> It's basically have the same concept as the famous "$20 Makeup Challenge TAG!" that has been around Youtube lately. Only in Indonesia we considered to spend IDR.100K as our makeup budget ( around $10 US Dollars ). The difference is you can use any makeup tools and didn't count in our (tight) budget.

******************************************************************************
UNTO A LITTLE REVIEW & HOW I APPLIED THEM ^.^
******************************************************************************

1. Sariayu Krem Alas Bedak Energizing Aromatic in Kuning Langsat.

What it said : Krem alas bedak yang dapat menutup noda, lebih halus & tahan lama diperkaya dengan tabir surya dan minyak esensial cendana untuk membangkitkan semangat.

Ingredients : Titanium Dioxide, Kaolin, Mineral Oil, Zinc Oxide, Isopropyl Myristale, Lanotin, Ozokerite, Lanolin Alcohol Paraffin, Bulyrospermum Parkli (Shea Butter), Cl 77492, Beeswax, Acetylated Lanolin Alcohol, Cetyl Acetate, Talc, Fragrance, Quatemium-18 Hectorite, BHT, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Santalum Album (Sandalwood) Oil

Color Selection, I believe Sariayu has 4 different shades for this. I couldn't remember the name of the shade, but what I remember >> kuning langsat, kuning pengantin, the brown one and the pink one. -_- Kuning pengantin has slightly darker color than kuning langsat. Even though kuning langsat itself is already look extremely yellow, but I gotta pick this one because it's the most "human" color as far as I can see. -_-

compare to my skin
( direct artificial lighting )
 yea. -___-"

compare to my jaw line
Okay, gotta be honest. So hard to pick a good concealer or any correction complexion makeup product ( especially local brand ) for this challenge. As you know I'm having a major break out lately, this is the most important thing for me.
PS : If you keeping up with my post, one of the famous Japanese skincare line didn't suit me, to find out click the link --> Review : Hada Labo Indonesia :'(

Texture wise, actually this is not bad. It's quite creamy and easy to blend. I believe it's meant to be a cream foundation, but I'm gonna use it as my concealer to my blemish spots. With a hope I can diffuse a little bit of the redness going on in my face.

The coverage is light to medium I'd say, as I always using it light handed because the overpowering yellow color could peak through. And believe me, you don't want it to be noticable, other wise you look like having a disease or something. -_-

As for applying it to my face, I'm using a pencil brush ( Sigma E05 - Eyeliner Brush ). Because I need something tapered and small enough as I'm only concealing the spots of acne scares on my face. After that, I blend them with my finger ( just dab it in, bouncing motion ).

ADDED NOTE : You can use this base as an under eye concealer or eyeshadow base.
For under the eyes, it could diffuse your dark circle and brighten up your tired face a bit. Then, set it with powder so it won't crease.
As an eyeshadow base, it will embed your eyeshadow pigments and intensify the color even more. It didn't crease on me as you use it light handed >> don't pile it on your lid, sweep it! And if you have an oily eyelid, before you sweep the base, set with powder first. :)

For illustration as an eyeshadow base :

2. Maybelline Clear Smooth Shine Free Pressed Powder in 01 Light.

This is what I use as my everyday pressed powder. It's cheap, easy to find at any drugstore here and works as.. pressed powder. Haha.. It kill the shine on my face and has SPF in it. I won't complain more as it function to what it said.
I chose this shade 01 Light because it has a pink undertone color. So it would neutralize the yellow color of my previous concealing product to -at least- match my skin tone even better.

Look on how I used this thing up!
I hit the pan already, the puff is full of my dirt ( I believe ) and I broke the compact joints :P
Haha.. forgive me for showing my real sloppyness! *nyembah*

Maybe for any cons for this thing is the packaging. I know it's best used with the puff it given, but the storage is awful. It sit on top of the pressed powder, which will transfer our dirt, oil or outside bacteria into the product. :'(
Other cons, if you over use, it will cake you up and enhance the fine lines or giving crack lines ( especially under the eyes ).

Texture wise, actually it's so silky and smooth. And has a little coverage, that's why it's my second layer to any of my concealing product, as well as to set it, as I have an oil base face.

3. Charm Cosmetic Eyeshadow Duo in Ocean Deep
For this particular item, I have full Review & Swatches --> click here!

Nothing special on the eyes, as I only deepen up my crease and fill in the lid color & inner corner to make it look more awake.

4. Morisse False eyelash.
Actually I got this for free because attending a Makeup Class >>> full post about it click here!

As I use no eyeliner and mascara, this thing helps a LOT! The ban of the lashes is the camouflage of having a thicker eye line ( as you're having an eyeliner ).
The curl up lashes is just using an eyelash curler. To hold up the curl of my lashes, I put eyelash glue on top of my original lashes and stick them with the false lashes. I think it would be fine, as long as in the end you take it off slowly with an oil base makeup remover and not just by pulling them harshly as it could took off your original lashes.

This kind of lashes is pretty natural looking lashes when you put it on. No dramatic result, just give a nice volume and length to the original lashes.

 5. Eye Putti Lem Bulu Mata / false lash glue.
I got this long time ago because my mom bought it to me.

As being cheap,  the package is pretty complete though. They gave us a helper and a guidance book -_-"

The applicator

The glue leaves a clear glossy finish, and took quite a while to dry.

6.  NYX round lipstick in Tea Rose.

I already depot this lipstick into a jar.

Here's a thing with NYX round lipstick. It's inexpensive, very pigmented, buttery, not drying your lips.. but it melt easily. :'(

I use this as my lip color and as a cream blush ( >> multifunction use :P ). As a cream blush, I need to set it with the pressed powder again, though.
Tea Rose is a warm color that has a satin finish on the lips. It's a pretty rosey color.
As for I'm using it on my cheeks as a cream blush ( no bronzer for this look ), I thought I might need a darker and warmer pink flush color as it will contouring my cheeks as well.

INGREDIENTS: Ceresin Wax, Polyethlene Wax, Candelilla wax, Microcrystalline Wax, Beeswax, Lanoline Oil, Isopropyl Myristate, Mineral Oils, Octyl Palmitate, BHA, Propyl Paraben, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, D&C Red No.A1 Lake, Pearl Powder, Iron Oxide.

 ***

And here is the final look!

Overall for this look, as you can see my acne is still seeing through ( especially in the forehead area ), my dark under eye circle is need to be more conceal, and I think I look so damn chubby without bronzer. oh well.. >,<"
