Review : Purederm Makeup Remover NEW version with Collagen

If you've been reading and following my blog, maybe you will find that this Purederm makeup remover wipes have been featured in my previous post >> Find the Cheaper Alternative Makeup Remover Wipes!

And the final verdict that I gave to Purederm compare to other makeup remover wipes that I've tried is that being : 1. affordable and 2. contains good ingredients to the skin as bonuses, but a let down is might be their quality of wipes. With that being said, as much as I like their makeup remover formula, I never intend to buy another because the wipes sometimes felt too rough on my skin. >,<"

And when I saw this Purederm NEW version with Collagen at Watsons Mal Kelapa Gading on the other day, I was intrigued to try again. Well, maybe this is much more improved one?

 

Hmm.. let's see! :D

The difference in the new packaging is they added a green color, rather than just a plain silver like the previous one.

What it says : Purederm Makeup Remover Cleansing Tissue will clean the eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipstick, blush-on even waterproof mascara without irritation to the skin. Could tighten the size of the pores. Keep skin soft, smooth, moist and fresh.

Ingredients : Water ( Aqua ), SD Alcohol, 40-B, Propylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Polysorbate 80, Sodium Lauryl, Sulfate, Methylparaben, Allantoin, Cucumber Extract, Portulaca Extract, Camellia Sinensis Extract, Fragrance ( Parfume ), Grapefruit Seed Extract, Panthenol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Citric Acid.

But most importantly, the formula is now added a collagen. And as for information >> a collagen-stimulating substance is famous to reduce wrinkles and improve the firmness of the skin, improving the appearance of the skin to make it look more youthful.

And for most of an infused collagen ingredients in any skincare, the price could be quite expensive than the regular one. ( Just like any other skincare with anti-aging formula )

The price range for this new version of Purederm is around IDR. 40000 rupiahs ( around $ 4 US Dollars ) for 20 sheets. which is yeah, a little bit higher than the previous one.

My review..

Again, I love Purederm formulation. After I use it, my skin instantly feel supple, moist and somehow it even look more radiance and lighter. Also, doesn't break me out so far. all I can see my skin is looking clean. which a HUGE plus. 

For what it says it could remove a waterproof mascara, I just think it's always not enough to only use this or any kind makeup remover wipes. I always always re-clean my lashes from waterproof mascara formula with the help of an oil base makeup remover ( >> my favorite is L'oreal Dermo Expertise GENTLE Lip and Eye Makeup Remover ).

It also has a fragrance scents, because it's infused with perfume. It's almost like a floral + cucumber scents to me. Personally, I like it and no complain about it :)

But again, a sad part is.. I can feel like the quality of the wipes is having a downfall. It feels scratchy and even poorer quality than the previous one. The wipes doesn't glides on smoothly on my skin and it was pain in the ass to drag the wipes onto my face. :(

Overall..

With sadly :( being said, I won't repurchase this again. As far as I like the formulation, the wipes feels scratchy on my skin. :(
But maybe next they would come up with just their formula in a bottle? I'll definitely make another consideration! :D
