Review : Elicina Snail Cream

So, this is my review for one of the famous multipurpose cream ( read: that claim to be one-in-beauty-healing-skincare product ) out there!

Basically, Elicina has 5 categories of products :

And mine happen to be the Elicina Pocket ( in tube packaging 20gr of product ) with the original formula, means if you choose "plus" it will contain a moisturizer as well. I guess the original formula will suit me the best, as I do have oily skin and I'll just stick with my face moisturizer of choice.

It claims to diminishes and softens wrinkles, stretch marks, scars, age spots, queloids, burns and acne.

Ingredients : 80% snail secretion filtrate extract 20% excipients ( paraffinium liquidum, propilene glycol, stearic acid, cetyl alcohol sodium, lauril, sulfate, diazolidinyl urea, methylparaben, propylparaben, triethanolamine )

- heal and regenerate damaged tissues

- reducing scars

- soften the skin

- as antioxidant or free radicals

Texture wise

To me, the texture is more like an eye cream. I wouldn't say it's thick consistency, but rich formula. Means, little goes a long the way when you spread it. It didn't feel sticky on my skin ( when it fully absorb ), but it does make your skin smooth after applied.

The smell is something like a tone down soapy scent ( not a strong one, but really soft scent ) and it will completely gone not long after that. I guess it would be excellent for someone with a sensitive nose or skin.

It does leave a mild foamy texture when you rub it. But when it absorb into skin, will leave no color ( translucent )

Result

With this tiny bottle, it last for around 2 months on me. Once or maybe twice application a day, with a tiny dots of regular use.

For my acne problem : well.. sadly, it doesn't do much anything to my acne problem. It didn't reducing the "active" zit in a day like any other acne spot clearing gel, or didn't lighten up any acne scares on me as well. I wouldn't recommend this product if your main focus is purely on your acne problem. Probably not when you’re having an ongoing inflammation, but it should help immensely for healing the skin ( in a longer period of time ).

For my stretch mark or old scaring problem : I also put it on the area I needed, but it hasn’t managed to lighten the scars on my hands in the slightest bit. Well, it also doesn't do much on my stretch mark either. I didn't see any improvement ( >> improvement such as : they get diffused into skin color again or making them smaller ), just do.. nothing. Well, yes, I only use it for 2 months and here what they say : 

Does Elicina also work on old scars?

As a general rule, every old skin lesion is harder to fade away than when treated at an earlier stage. However best results can be obtained but it takes longer, 3 to 4 months of daily use (twice a day). In these cases it is possible to apply Elicina three times a day, but not on the face for it is too delicate and won’t withstand 3 daily applications well.

Stretch marks have three phases:
1st - Purple colored stretch mark: this is the stretch mark in its first phase and is easier to fade away applying Elicina.
2nd - Pink colored stretch mark: second phase, here it is still possible to diminish the stretch mark although it would take longer.  (2 months aprox.)
3rd - White colored stretch mark: third phase, there are not many surgical or cosmetic solutions to deal with this problem.
Results depend on two factors, first, the phase where the stretch mark is at that point and secondly, on the type of skin. All skins act differently from one to another. Generally, people who use Elicina have seen results in the first month of use, consistency is of most importance.

If you’re thinking of using snail cream for scars, be warned that it probably only works to reduce redness on new scars.

For my burn or slices problem : Wow! I guess, this product would suit the best! If you have any new burn ( or like : slices, graze, scratched >> accidental thing that peeled off your skin or tissues ), when you put it on, it will magically almost like replacing and regenerating new skin again in just a matter of days!! :0 and if you continue in using it, it will like a brand new skin again. 

( It will like an accident with no evidence. Scary, isn't? haha )

For my dry area problem : While Elicina snail cream doesn’t give you an instant feel-good sensation on your skin, it industriously eliminates dry, wrinkly skin. Leave your skin smoother and softer. It has a potential good moisturizer after all.

My thoughts overall..

Well, I guess the multipurpose thingy is too good to be true. The main purpose of this cream is works magically on any burn or slices or accidentally thing that cause your skin into "exposing" and damaging tissues.

Maybe it could also said what it claim, but I believe other products will works wonder on each of purposes. 

Added Note : I really recommend using Salicylic Acid, or Benzoyl Peroxide, or other natural ingredients like Tea Tree Oil if you have acne problem. Maybe continue with other post? :P

Yup, I guess I pretty much cover everything.

And do remind, every skin in every person is different. 

But I hope I could enlighten you with such information if you curious with this product and decided to give it a try.
