Review & Swatches : Sleek Oh So Special Palette

Hi lovelies!
How's your day?
Hope it's magical! :D

So, realizing I never done a proper review about this awesome eyeshadow palette
( once I only swatch them a while ago in my previous post --> click here! ) <-- and to see how much and where I get it :D

and thinking.. why don't I just do it now? :D

Yey! Here we go :D

Sleek, I believe is a UK cosmetic brand that famous for their affordable and pigmented eyeshadow palettes or blushes. I would imagine this brand as NYX's overseas sister. Because they were in the same range of price, quality and style of freshness & youthfulness. >> my opinion, of course! :P
To go check their official site --> www.sleekmakeup.com

For other similar palette from NYX that I already made a review --> Review & Swatches : NYX 10 Color Eyshadow Palette in Super Model

The little difference about this palette is it contain 12 eyeshadow colors.
It also has slightly bigger size compact than NYX's.

and they make a waffle pattern in each of the pressing. cute! :D

For this particular palette from Sleek, this has a range from gorgeous pastel creamy color into deeper plum purple and even the blackest black color I've ever seen.

 Swatches Time!

.from top to bottom.
.no primer. no base. indoor / artificial light.
>> NOTE -> (*) : finishes

   *FIRST ROW*
bow : matte*
organza : shimmer*
ribbon : matte*
gift basket : shimmer*
glitz : shimmer*
celebrate : satin*

   *SECOND ROW*
pamper : matte*
gateau : satin*
the mall : matte*
boxed : matte*
wrapped up : matte*
noir : matte*

For the eyeshadow :
  • The swatches above need 2-3 swipe to get to the heavy opaque color 3cm long each stroke
  •  All the color payoff is true from what you see in the pan
  • Easy to blend
  • Awesome pigmentation
  • Great range variation color for romantic everyday use or dramatic party eyes
  • You'll get 7 matte finishes from 12 colors in this palette! WOAH :D

And a little bit from what I can feel, texture wise, I can say most of them are buttery and pigmented and awesome. But, for the particular color like bow, the mall and noir They slightly have a different feel to it. Bow and the mall is felt hardened when you finger swatch them, you need to dab the color with brush. And for noir, it felt like charcoal -_-"

My thoughts
Yup, I guess this is still a good palette to have. Whether you're a tight budget makeup lover or a high end makeup spoiler. It's the best from both world. Affordable, but still has a good quality.

Here is a picture of my idea for an everyday use eye makeup.

Of course you can explore from this palette more than that, I believe :D
